All around Mayne Island, creatives are busy preparing for the much-anticipated Fall Studio Tour! This is the third studio tour put on by Lorie J Brown and myself, and this year, I'm excited to report that it's bigger and better! More studios, and more buzz!
OCTOBER
The storm before the calm...before any show, it looks like the studio exploded. There is hardly room to navigate but it is all getting done and I know where everything is! Half of these paintings are not the ones that will be in the show, and the other half are leaning and some still in progress. It's all under control! ;)
Bruce & I at the costume ball & art show on October 9th, standing and goofing in front of my two paintings. This one is called ‘Last Dance of Summer’.
This was such a fun night at the Ag Hall. Bruce played bass in Pinch Hazard, a band that had everyone dancing. Here we are standing in front of my giclee print, ‘Magical Mayne’. (Bruce with magical extensions.)
Overlooking Bennett Bay on Mayne Island BC, is my new plein air easel gifted to me by my dear friend Lori J Brown of Gardenia.
